Introduction
My name is Michael Loveless and I
am in the Master's Degree program in Early Childhood Education at Kennesaw
State University and will graduate in the summer of 2015 with my M.Ed. and my
Gifted Endorsement. I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s
degree in elementary education. Immediately after graduation, I began teaching at
an elementary school in Rome Georgia.
There I taught fifth grade and I can say I've been lucky enough to teach
5th grade for the past few years as well. That trend has continued and I
currently teach 5th grade students at Shelton Elementary in Paulding County.
The purpose of this portfolio is for me to demonstrate my understanding of standards related to Candidate Performance. As you can see, there are a series of links below the Kennesaw logo that you can visit. By taking the time to visit each of these links you will find supporting evidence of my new found pedagogical knowledge and understanding of research based best practices.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Kennesaw State University, and feel that I have truly enhanced my understanding of research based decision making and best practices in the elementary classroom through the Master's Degree program.
